Conversations With Your Staff
As a public sector organisation it is imperative to ensure that we are making the best of our most vital resource – our staff. Where standards or performance have slipped, it is even more crucial that managers have the more difficult conversations with individuals and this module provides guidance on how to manage these and confront any issues.
The module follows a scenario of a manager having a performance review with a member of his team, and the learner will influence the outcome of this conversation by choosing the types of questions to ask. There are ten possible outcomes to this scenario, but only two successful ones. Can you help our manager find the right way to approach this conversation?
