The Skills Pledge
Many of you will be aware of the work that took place over the summer regarding the CPS Skills Pledge. Back in June 2009, staff completed a qualifications' survey to determine the percentage of CPS staff qualified to Level 2 (5 GCSEs or equivalent) or above. The response to the survey was exceptional with almost half of the organisation choosing to respond.
The data from the survey has been invaluable and Leadership & Learning (L&L) is now using it to move forward the skills agenda. It is also being used to offer staff without a Level 2 qualification the opportunity to develop in a number of business specific areas.
