The Performance Management module is essential learning for all managers prior to their attendance on the Performance Management workshops, It can also be used as a stand alone module to give a comprehensive background to the CPS performance management system for new managers, or used as a refresher for more experienced managers. The module examines how performance at individual and team level links in to the overall aims of the CPS and the wider CJS.
Total Time (approximate): 120 Minutes
Modules
The module introduces the Skills & Valued Behaviour Framework, Career Family Groups and Performance Development Reviews which were introduced in April 2006 and supports the Performance Management Toolkit. There is also guidance on objective setting and improving performance through targeted Learning & Development.
