Case Management Hearings
Estimated Completion Time: 90 Minutes
This module demonstrates your role in conducting Case Management Hearings. It sets out the limits of your extended powers to deal with the issues that might arise, which may include applications for Special Measures, or to admit hearsay or bad character evidence. Additionally you are introduced to the requirements of the "Dangerous Offenders" legislation.
Custody Time Limits
Estimated Completion Time: 30 Minutes
This module covers Custody Time Limits and the practical application to Prosecution cases. It examines a 'Ready Reckoner' system for calculation of limits and identifies legal provisions applying to extensions of custody time limits.
